Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, or a related field, Adapted Physical Education (APE) certification, and 1+ years Adaptive PE Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Pay: From $30-$34/hr, based off experience
Blazer Jobs is interviewing licensed Adapted Physical Education Teachers for a full-time school-based position in Lisle, IL. This role focuses on developing and implementing individualized physical education programs for students with diverse abilities.
Responsibilities:

Design and implement adaptive PE programs aligned with IEPs

Assess students motor skills and physical development

Collaborate with special education teams and therapists

Document progress and adjust instruction accordingly
Requirements:

Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an endorsement in Physical Education (PK12)

Adapted Physical Education approval through ISBE

Prior experience working with students with disabilities preferred

Current CPR and First Aid certification
